Many of the features that made Flickr an attractive shop front no longer work.
Technical support is non-existent; just read some of the Forums and they are relying on users to provide support.
Direct upload of images from ACDSee Pro is broken and no attempt has been made to fix it.
They are specialists in "traditional photography", where, there is always a friendly, knowledgeable, person to ask.
Their impressive variety of vintage equipment: film cameras, cine cameras, medium format, large format and darkroom equipment, rubs shoulders with the latest digital equipment and telescopes;
Their shelves contain a good range of photographic consumables: Kodak and Ilford films, chemicals, memory cards, batteries etc., etc., etc!
They probably have the last colour negative film processing laboratory in the Southampton area, and are always on the lookout to buy, used, equipment for stock and in my experience, offer good money or our obsolete equipment.
Unlike Flickr this app still works well, however having removed all my images from Flickr I no longer use this bolt-on
An entirely free and a useful way of using 100 of your images stored in a folder in Flickr on your website, using a form, then copy and paste the code.However the code does need a bit of fiddling to get it exactly how you want it.
